Look's like it will make for a proper assault on the control room.


The auto-turrets in a10 gave me an idea for an armor ability:

How about an EMP that strips the shields of any enemy next to you (no stun) and/or disables vehicles if you're close enough. The catch is, it immediately takes out your shield too. (Essentially the EMP at the end of c40).

It would be good for CQC against shielded enemies and great for boarding.

I think that actually is an armor upgrade in spv3

That's really cool. It answers a lot of inquirees and questions I had for weeks since you showed me the trailer but was afraid to ask xD I still have a few but it looks really cool!

So I noticed in the ce3 interview that masters said he likes needle based weapons. In the trailer there are segments where marksman (and I believe a brute on a10 aswell) seem to be using what looks like a needle based distance weapon. In addition, a loadout on a50 listed the impaler as a weapon choice. The impaler was a med-long distance needle-based weapon in Iffy's ASCM maps. Coincidence? Probably. Not.


Didn't see anyone else make this connection on the previous posts or the trailer analysis masters posted, so I thought I'd just share this piece of speculation.

Also for the rocket hog or which ever that one was that was in the trailer, can you guys not make the yellow strips so large and noticable? It's kind of distracting and to me, kind of ugly. :l Can't it be something like thin highlighted strips?

Well the stock rocket Warthog had some pretty big yellow stripes on it, too.

So, you guys have reticule bloom? How does it work in SPV3? I've seen a video of it in the past, but, it wouldn't change color when pointed at the enemy. I thought i saw it changing color in the trailer breakdown.

I have a random question. Are there going to be color permutations and such on weapons to make each one look more varied? I noticed there were slight differences in the colors of the covenant carbine back in the old a50 beta and was wondering if you were going to maybe expand on that with more of the weapons. It would be cool, and I don't think it would cost you any tagspace or tag slots. It could also easily be done with vehicles too.

Nah.... wraith sounds less risky since the plasma motor fires upward while the tank fires forward (or will run you over) warthog meh sounds less risky too :
