Actually, I don't think we are going to have a Gauss Hog in SPV3, it will be in B30:E though but for SPV3 B30:E I think we will be using a Rocket hog (good ole h1 style, none of that stupid h:4/h4 crap)

I like the suggestion in RED. I'd say you're correct, it does look very similar to the gauss turret. But since the latest CMT gauss Warthog I remember seeing was magazine fed, rather than revolver action, I think they could get away with using a rocket turret like this in SPV3.

Hopefully nuero won't be mad about me posting this... but this is the model for our Rocket Hog    As you notice, it has 4 barrels, because 4 barrels look nicer than 3. To clarify, it will function like the H1 Rhog, but 4 shots, not 3.

it looks good, but you might want to make use of the medkits, add a special function, like drop a one time double medkit group, of 2 singles at 2 times of choice. can you make an animation after fire? such as rotation? or use a revolver thing like the previous shown hog above?

Yeah, we actually have a system in our vehicle scripts so that the player can use the 2 health packs in the hog to heal himself and his passengers.
There aren't any plans for reloading or revolving stuff. the model even may change. This is just where it stands now.

i gotta say masters, she's a work of beauty. i love how the occupants planned ahead and fastened health kits and a spare tube onto the hog. also don't be afraid to beat the hog a bit beforehand, it probably tumbled around in the hangar a lot before the marines salvaged it. love the attention to detail though!

@jackrabit: we don't have any of it ingame, this is just the high poly model because this is as far as progress on it is. It's not that important an asset to devote time to now, when we can just use another hog gun as placeholder while more important assets are worked on.

I will be doing a video for the DMR, AR and SMG, and Brutes soon. Focus Carbine will be done if Bob's okay with showing the new FP model.
