For someone who practically lives on a forum you should know it isn't necessary (and kind of stupid) to quote someone above you...
Anyway, I see that you like to have the last word, even if it's meaningless, off-topic or just plain stupid. Self-esteem issues?
If you have nothing to contribute (90% of your posts), then just keep your nonsense to yourself.
Thanks.
Now let us continue ON-topic!

STFU Delicon nobody cares. Take it to PM or whatever, quit trying to cause trouble. Now if either of you has nothing on-topic to say then don't say anything.
On topic: Shadow texture is being looked at, wooh!

On-topic: show us the shadow! It is Ironic. And hypocritical. And as far as being off-topic this happen's in every thread. Most people here spend quite a bit of time on the forum. Don't believe me? The shadow sound's like it might be interesting. And why did you use "Shadow" anyway when that is the covenant troop carrier.

If so AWESOME Nah we have a different naming for those things. - What you guys probably think of as "retro spectre" we call "shadow" ( because that was going to be it's name originally before it was cut from the xbox version). - The Halo 2 covenant bus, although it's called Shadow in halo 2, we call it "creep" The creep currently won't be driveable since it simply isn't fun to drive.

The creep wasn't drivable in Halo 2 either, but the turret was. Will it be like that?

At the moment it's just not driveable or gunnerable at all since the vehicle is disabled by script. I could change the label of the vehicle driver seat to something the spartan can't use but that'd mess up the driver's animations since it uses G-driver (the ghost's label).
So atm it's just not driveable or gunnerable at all.

Basically what Lodex said, It used to be able to drive, however a certain encounter near the end near impossible to balance, and just wasn't fun while driving it. It's also considerably slow and not very maneuverable

A leak- but who cares, the area has been shown before. And at Tiel - yes, alot of our encounters have multiple ways to engage the enemy and also will vary in what happens, and sometimes, what things you fight, depending on your actions and what you are "using" at specific moments.

Edited by Dennis on Sep 8, 2011 at 08:52 PM That really would sound epic in a Russian accent. (Email is a wonderful thing isn't it? Ask me on xfire if you don't know what i mean by that.) ANYWAY....I am guessing from what I see about that ghost that it work's sort of how they do in later halo games where it look's like it's destroyed but is actually still usable? Were about half way complete production wise, and the map is like 3/4 polished of that halfway mark. School has started though and I can assure you it wont be for a while until this is completed. If your lucky it might be the end of this year, but i'm not going to push for anything since we want it to be polished and complete when we release it.
It will be released - its just a matter of time, motivation, and real life. Edited by Higuy on Sep 9, 2011 at 05:25 PM

this is just like the old cmt spv2 discussion thread from back in the day
I remember the flame wars like they were yesterday, ahh nostalgia.
So anyway you said this project was halfway finished, can we get kind of an idea of what's complete and what's not? or are you guys just chipping away at everything so no particular section of this project is ahead of another? Edited by Delicon20 on Sep 10, 2011 at 01:13 AM

Well we can tell you we're about exactly halfway in terms of BSP-gameplay testing basically. All our encounters have been designed on paper (or well I redo mine in paint cause my drawings get messy + i have no scanner ) so we know exactly where we stand on that respect. Now we just go on and implement rough versions of our designs so we can still easily go back and change the BSP around if it turns out to not be as fun as we'd hoped. Tl;dr: Basically the level is playable just about up until the halfway point. With a few rough edges still.

Its good to see that ur planning it out on paper. Even though I can't draw for my life, I like creating concept art environments at home. It looks horrible.. but, meh.
I might actually try and draw some more, post it to you, and let u see if its good.
Yea... Specially since its holidays. Althogu nobody knows me, or knows if I'm good or not.

Always nice to start the day with an appreciative comment @LoS, we plan out the layout and flow of our BSPs and encounters but we do not draw environmental concept art in the context of what you appear to be thinking (fancy drawings and stuff is what I understand under concept art). Though of course are layouts do include what type of terrain it should feature, important landmarks and/or structures etc...
