Close to being finished now.

Not sure if it should act like a computer controlled turret or be a vehicle

That gives me an idea. What if you have the control panel with a seat inside a building that controls the vehicle from far away?

You go into a room (imagine the POA control room) and you stand by a computer terminal and "Get in the vehicle" which is really far away, but the camera track goes to the vehicle. Kinda like how in Call of Duty you can control the predator missile.

im urrently working on a retail ghost. the only thing i need is the illum bitmaps to release. i made some shaders but didnt know if they were good. do these look ok?

it looks ok, but just use the default CE spartan, cause the terrible spartan with the crap shaders that your using is making it hard to pay attention to the ghost. Is that the Reach ghost?

They look perfectly fine, they may not look like Halo 3 but they're not bad shaders for Halo 1.

They're pretty bad. I'd add some more reflection and maybe use a purple\pink tinted cubemap (edit the values all the way down on the shader tag).

You're right about the Illum bitmap though.

Pretty standard shaders. They arn't ugly but arn't pretty. Needs some more shine. Looks fine if it has a wee bit more shine.

Standard shaders. For Halo CE, not good enough. Really Petera, you should be able to tell the difference by now...

newish shaders.well i tried and t fails :P.

things to do:
ilum bitmap. can any body rip it or not?

new cubemap. im trying to learn how to make thm but i could ask maniac (make mine a 99) because he makes awesome ones and he recently gave me a whole pack of awesome cube maps

Well, your shine sucks, try using elite cubemaps. Also i highly recomand you to make a color change map
