The backpack comes off by meleeing. It shouldn't come off with one shot from the Assault Rifle or a blast from the Spartan Laser.

The bullet ruptures a methane tube, the pressure forces the backpack off.
If It created an explosion that forced the grunt in some direction after the back received enough damage, then it'd be even better.

You know this forum better than all of us, and you know that most of us don't.
Sorry to state the obvious but just because you don't doesn't me you shouldn't. And to those who say they are not adults, as true and obvious as that may be does not mean you should not aspire to try and act like one. I see a lack of effort on that front and excuses for behavior that is known not to be acceptable. Allowances have been made for lack of experience in an effort to allow people to learn but at some point like I originally said it is "Time to participate in the forum like adults do."

What Dennis said. I, being 17, try to at least act and talk like the mature adult I am becoming. Acting mature is the first step toward preventing chaos such as was seen on the forums today.

If you read his post, he doesn't assume you're adults. He said it's time for y'all to start acting like one.

Many people are lazy with their spelling and grammar in the forums. While it's a small indicator of immaturity/laziness, it's not really the biggest deal. But at least do your best to act in a slightly mature manner, if someone gives you feedback, and it's negative, it doesn't mean they're knocking your work (most times) it means there's small flaws. Ask them how to fix it instead of insulting them. If what they point out is absurdly ridiculous, then ignore it. It's not hard. There's plenty of other things that happen, this is what I've seen most.

I'm with Mooseguy. At 17 (18 in 2ish weeks), I act like the adult I am. Hell I'm studying at a university! Even at 14 it's not a stretch to do what I said above. I can't imagine what you must be like in school if this is how you act all of the time.

I mean honestly, who has an argument for 2 full pages on whether or not someone's a troll? Does that not scream childish to you?

(Note. Any time the word you was used above is not targeted at any one person. More the community as a whole.)

Are you an adult? I'd assume not.
Just because you aren't, it doesn't mean you shouldn't act mature. Act your age, not your shoe size.

my shoe size is adult men's 13 and a half's :p

id prolly be more mature if i acted mai shoe size
