As of right now my spike nade skin is open sourced: http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z295/iron_clad_photo/animations/Spikegrenadeskin.png Its fairly high res so I'm not posting the pic, just a link. if you like it feel free to use it, but i made this a while back and I'm no photoshop pro as it is. Note: if anyone decides to freak out on me about this, chill. I can always make another. Edit: the smiley face was on a non unwrapped area of my original template, so try to unwrap your models without putting anything on it. Edited by ICEE on Sep 26, 2008 at 10:28 PM

Dude for the love of God, this is a weapons WIP thread, stop posting non-weapon things. there's a separate thread for those.

looks alot like halo 1 rocket launcher.... also no point in really modeling a new rocket launcher, all Bungie did was change the skin on it
also stop posting new models, finish the one your currently working on, then move on to a new one. You will never get anything done if you keep doing that Edited by Advancebo on Sep 27, 2008 at 11:14 AM

The rocket launcher, plasma rifle and plasma pistol kept the same exact model through halo 1, 2 and 3. They were only reskinned.

shotgun shells do need models. for the first person reload animation, it would look silly if you were pushing a decal into the magazine.

... which is why i asked why a broken shell ejecting cannot be part of the animation. it was a rhetorical "dont be an idiot" kind of thing.

I think there needs to be some kind of blade along the top part, so you can stab/saw your enemies in half.

How is the sword supposed to cut someone in half if the width of the sword itself is so much wider than the saw part of the chainsaw? I don't think you would be able to go very deep.

very true geo, although probably not relevant anymore, the W 40K's one was used merely to cut the person open and let their guts / blood poor out, not so applicable here in halo lol
