Reading annotations, especially in drop down form, is almost as bad as reading youtube comments, as stated by Mario Frustration guy. It's... it's @#$%^& worse than a episode of family guy. That shiz is worse than panic at the disco!

woo. my first rig ever, and will soon be my first animation ever. Tired of using assault rifle animations. I've been soiling myself to get the walking animation perfect (which btw is the first thing I've done with the rig). Tips would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and please don't criticize the model, I'm more focused on animating right now.

No, there is no animation specific to you picking up a weapon like in Call of Duty. I only have the ready, and having the gun fly up to your hand every time would not work or look good.

Oh, and please don't criticize the model, I'm more focused on animating right now. Put a circle in the center of the screen, at (0,x,0) /orwasit(x,0,0) Looks kind of off center to me. Show more of the gun and hands. Move to the left, maybe a degree of tilt.

Looks kind of off center to me. Show more of the gun and hands. Move to the left, maybe a degree of tilt. Uhh not sure how I would make that circle (safe to say that I've been using 3ds max for a month :P; the entire rig isn't in the center of the world; idk if you mean in the render or the world; be gentle pls). Can't show much more of the guns and hands as I already have because the arms are placed somewhat awkwardly, and I don't have the left index finger in the trigger to save a little time while animating the reload. Moving the arms back only craps up the controller. Now I realize the benefits of saving :) Here is what I have so far: Appreciate your help btw.

your arms are too far out, you should really move the gun in closer.
And when your animating for HCE, its best to keep the "frame bone24", and the arms at their normal locations. Since the camera in HCE will always be at 0,0,0.

Remember, when it comes to FP animation the only thing that matters is whats on screen.

I see what you mean (since 0,0,0 is center of the world, and that is where you're saying HCE's camera is, and not the camera I have right now). Because the controller is already applied and I don't wanna redo the entire rig, should I just shift everything to make it look good with 0,0,0? Infact, I might have to redo the rig because moving everything skews up the controllers, and I'm worried that will haunt me in the near future. Move camera to origin, then probably start again.
Btw, I recommend making origins without IK controllers on, because they can be quite a hassle when you want certain parts to be a certain way, but have to keep moving the wrist around until it gets there...

Yeah that'll probably be best. I need to resize the nodes anyway, they were becoming a real pain.
