I like it that red. The only reason I did my own shaders for this is because no one would mess with it for five months >>

Hey guys. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5MZMCslp4oQuote: Let's jump on this motion-blur bandwagon. After becoming reacquainted with the Halo 2 FP arms for my tutorial a few days back, I decided on a whim to give my old SMG animations an overhaul. At the same time, I had just finished rigging the H3 Elite FP to the bones of my custom CMT Elite's FP, and I wanted to get another set out of the way for the first official release my Elite project. So, here we are. I planned to do a real-time narration for the animation of both sets, but I forgot to record the SMG at all and the Sword just didn't work out well. I'll try to do it for the next thing I animate. But, since I didn't, here's a little treat for you all to nibble on... http://tehlag.modacity.net/one/notpix/lookit/CMT SMG Animations 7-20-10 Max Files.rar

... You do realize that Bungie is a HUGE development team doing animations for a LOT more things than just one weapon, right? Nothing against lag, but you don't seem to realize how much stuff Bungie has to do (all within a certain deadline as well.)

True, if your free doing what you want for halo ce you can polish the animations and make it very good since you have like all the time you want so yeah.
And its funny since yoko said teh lags shaders from 3ds max for the h3 elite fp arms I got them to almost look exactly the same in halo ce :d.
Except for the normal mapping which I had to fake bump since halo ce doesn't support normals on dynamic objects :\

Lag, the anims look great. However, I think the sword should point more out than closer to the face. That's just my personal taste though, but it would also make more sense for an Elite's physiology.

Hey, I've been trying to think of a weapon to create for Custom Edition. I've been tossing around the idea of a carbine modification to the M6C pistol. I'm thinkin' maybe a wire stock, silencer, extended mag, maybe even adding the Battle Rifle's telescopic sights. Additional stats below:
Accuracy: 0.1 - 1.5 degrees of error Rate of Fire: Semi-Automatic Rounds per Clip: 18 Damage: Default
Anyway, tell me whatcha think. Edited by Echo77 on Jul 20, 2010 at 05:09 PM

Well, at the heart of the weapon, it's still an M6C. So there isn't really room for a vertical grip.

So I would have to use either an SMG's foregrip, or one from a G36. Unless someone could model a new one for me.

It looks kind of odd but for a first model that's not all that bad. I think that some of the placements are off but that might just be me.
