I've been wanting an answer for a long time. I downloaded the crack, installed the game, and every file is in the right place, and everything required is installed. So when I open the .bat, the command prompt window appears, running some commands to launch halo 2, then the window vanishes after a split second, and it looks like its about to boot up. One problem: It doesn't. Any help?

You should expect this to be locked. Teh illegalness.

Getting halo 2 to run on xp isn't illegal. Do you have this mixed up with a cd crack?

No, it is illegal, for the one is that it is engineered to play on Vista only, and using any program to delete the OS check renders it illegal.

If it was illegal, this topic would have been locked by now. There are several h2-xp crack threads on this forum, Dennis even got involved in some, and they weren't locked.

Just help me with this error.

Seriously, if you can run H2V, you can run Windows Vista.

My computer is too old to support vista, and I don't feel like spending a thousand dollars that I don't even have on another computer. If you can't help me, or if you're just going to say "get vista", then leave.

Forget about H2V then, if your PC can't handle Vista, you will not get even close to 10 FPS on Halo 2. Your computer has to be 'Vista ready' or 'Vista compatible'. Try running this, and let us know what it says.

God, all I want to know is why halo 2 will not start up. If it's actually because my computer can't run vista, then tell me that. Zealot is only saying it will lag a lot..

Why do you think I am talking about a halo 2 xp crack? Thee is a way around it. And you are probably the stupidest, for saying exactly what I told you not to say.

Just to let you know you WILL not be able to play Halo 2 online because it requires something Xp doesn't have. Vista. You will only be able to play the singleplayer so you just wasted money or time downloading it.
