Alright, that fixed that problem. I've got a bunch of couldn't update edge, but that's an easy fix. Thanks! edit-I'm confused here.. The edges that "cannot be updated" are along the edges where the cliffs and skybox join.. Anyone know how to fix this? Edited by defyant on Oct 31, 2009 at 08:15 PM
I've got a problem, whenever I run structure in tool for my map, I get the following error:
building intermediate geometry... EAX: 0xFFFFFFFE EBX: 0x001F4E01 ECX: 0x0012F2D0 EDX: 0x000002CC EDI: 0x0012F2D0 ESI: 0x00000000 EBP: 0x0012F1A8 ESP: 0x0012F198 EIP: 0x7C90EB94, C3 8D A4 24 ????? EXCEPTION halt in .\intermediate_geometry.c #444: triangle->material_index>=0 && triangle->material_index<old_material_count
I'm guessing this has something to do with a geometry error, but there's no .wrl file.. Help pls?
Alright, thanks for your help.
Hey guys. I'm new to halo mapping and modding and such, and I'm just wondering how to make a random biped spawn each time the player spawns. I'm currently using the Recon biped by spartan-094, and I want the game to randomly pick a biped from the other ones I have (CQB, MarkVI and EVA[maybe even ODST]). Anyone know how to do this? Thanks.
1. I've had this problem before, and as far as I can tell, you can't have more than 4 of a vehicle in a map(or maybe it's team?). Maybe the vehicle team index affects this. Anyway, try that, see if it works. 2. Lots of tags are buggy, check your debug.txt in the halo CE root directory. Sometimes you haven't extracted the tags to the right folder or something, or copying over similar files will do the trick. - In response to last post, close globals.globals when BEFORE closing guerilla, then re-extract the globals, then open up guerilla again and open up the (hopefully) re-extracted globals.globals.
