You can do that?
Lets not forget about Bryce. That program is wicked nice. I cut my teeth on that program. And in fact, here are some images I made using it.

Well, don't forget that the turret doesn't have to be on top. You could have a large track with the guns mounted on the sides as well, like that one from Indiana Jones.
All I have to say is... dang. Now THAT is a tank.
Booyah. Out of the even dozen modeling programs I've tried, Max is by far the most powerful.
That, and even with uber powerful computer, Gmax tends to die randomly.
I have never tried Wings, but from what I hear its more or less on part with Sketchup. I started out modeling with Bryce, so it was actually kind of easy to transfer from Bryce to 3ds max.
Still won't go through. It just keeps coming back to the "Please wait to download" shtick.
Well, I can't download the second one.
Oh, of course they have seen the light of day. However, they arn't really good enough for this game just yet, but you asked for them.

There we are, my best ships so far. Is that good enough for you?
Holy crap dude. @_@ I'd ask where you got them, but uh... yeah. I can try. No garuntees however.
That doesn't help me at all.

Simple enough, I have no clue what this error report means. This is when I tried to convert the physics. I've searched online for answers, but no one has really explained what this error is.
Also, would anyone be willing to help me convert my model into a tag? I can't seem to get Tool to even recognize it. Edited by Angel Natavi on Feb 14, 2011 at 02:12 PM
XD I still do.
I think theres one in Texas as well.
Yeah, sure. Hold on, I'll get those to you now.
I hate to be a wet blanket to an obviously irritating argument, but is this really the best place to carry this feud out? I mean, its kind of rude to the people who actually want to get stuff done.
It is the middle of winter after all, so maybe?
Hey, count me in. This sounds pretty darn interesting actually.
And a word to the wise, Sketchup has more diverse features than 3ds Max, but Max has more powerful features, and a lot more of them. I perfer both of them for what they do as a specialty, however I like Max for hard core detail work.
Huh, I did not know about that check. I'm still quite a novice at the whole modeling thing. But, thanks for the tip!
