I already got the refund from him. He claimed to of had the disc, but was going to charge for shipping. The download was from Dropbox.
Oh well, lesson learned. Edited by dallas6672 on Aug 27, 2014 at 08:55 PM
Quote: --- Original message by: WWLinkMasterX I know this is going to sound suspect, but you should PM me what your key is, and I'll tell you if it's part of the "common eight."
Actually, just google your key. If it turns up any results you've been screwed.
The first two on this list are the ones that he gave us... https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20111004062154AABSNyc
I've already sent him a message. Waiting on his response first before I open a dispute. Didn't even think about the listing title. I was just trying to protect his name until I knew for sure that it wasn't something that we were doing wrong.
Thanks again.
Thanks... both of ya!!!
That's kinda what I'm thinking, but wanted to make sure there wasn't something special you had to do or maybe they disabled it in the patch before I accuse the guy of selling me bad keys.
Actually got it on ebay. Guy was selling quite a few of them. But if the key is already in use/invalid, why does it work fine when joining other ppl's games and hosting LAN games?\
Thanks
Just to show that I bought it...

Me and buddy each bought Halo PC today. Downloaded the latest patch from Bungie. We can join games that other have created just fine, but we are unable to Create/Host games online without it saying Your CD KEY is Invalid. I can also create/host LAN games.
How can we host our own games or are we missing something?
