That did the trick. Thanks
Hey all,
So I was messing around with HCE, and decided to change the ui. Simple enough right? Well, it seems there's something of a predicament. I changed up the .map files, and nothing happened. So I decided to be a smart@ss to my computer, and deleted any ui file from my computer and starting HCE, hoping for an error message. But no! The game runs with that same &@$%! default ui. So what's the issue with my ghost ui file? Thanks for the help!
Alrighty! Thanks and good luck!
Hey All,
It's YankeeNinja (again), your neighborhood 3D MAX layman. I'm posting to see if anybody is up to the quick task of creating a multiplayer biped for the Halo 2 Era ODST. I think these guys are wicked cool and better than the Halo 3 reincarnations. I just want bipeds that look like this(http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=3983) and can be used in the creation of any multiplayer map. Thanks/Gracias Edited by yankeeninja on Jan 7, 2013 at 06:18 PM
Well I tried that too. Here's the error message for that.

No dice partner. Checked the boxes, and tried timberland.map for the old extraction, and got pooped on by another error message.

All,
I'm back after awhile and decided to reinstall and whatnot, but ran into a couple problems with HEK+ (this version-http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=2289). I tried to open beavercreek.map, and ran it through the drag-and-drop-into-queue method. Then I got this error message-

Now I'm running on Win7, but it's worked well in the past, so something is amiss. Thanks for the help.
Well said tiel. Once again, whats the point of having cool things if you can't show them off?
P.S.-Thanks for the update Creator-really well done map
thanks for the help! good to know that the community works!
Why so stingy? This is a community for submitting work, which will always be credited to you. What's the point of making it if you can't share/brag about it?
Hey All, There's alot of chatter in the forums about Reach-style Spartan bipeds, and I was wondering if there's a place to download these biped tags. Any info would be appreciated. grassy-ass (gracias)
One more thing. How do starting profiles work?

Hey All, So I'm working with Sapien here and I have a fairly basic question which nobody seems to be asking. In countless downloadable maps, you can set bipeds other than cyborg_mp as the player, for example all the odst maps or halo 3 style maps. So how exactly do you set another biped as the player? Thanks for the help in advance.
So I tried opening bloodgulch.map with sapien right? I've got the classic load-for-a-minute-and-crash-bug. Here's my debug.txt-

-so as you can see I'm in pretty bad doo-doo here, but I'm sure you chaps know what to do and then some. Thanks in advance.
I think I could manage editing the tags with guerilla, although Im not sure how to change color
so how would I go about finding the shaders?
Heres the debug. I did all of what Dumb AI posted, but still get the error message. Heres the debug-

Recently I have been trying to import a couple biped tags in to Sapien (http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=6226) without avail. I continually get the please contact your nearest Bungie Programmer Message and the tags fail to load. Anyway I can fix this or is there a problem with the tags? Thanks
