k i uninstalled and reinstalled. halo pc has been installed, but still doesnt work. Im trying to install CE now but during the setup after I enter my CD key i got a " Cannot Load PidGen.dll" message and it sends me back to the CD key entry. did someone steal my CD key?
the game cant load. when I put the disk in, it trys to start then says "please insert the Halo CD and press ok". I downloaded the 1.09 patch and it needs the CD to work, but i get the same message when I put the disk in.
also I tryed looking for a no CD patch at that Gamecopyworld but I didnt see anything that said patch, but Im a noob when it comes to this kinda stuff.
I recently changed over to Linux and have been trying to get CE and PC running on it but Im having no luck. main problem is that I need the patch to run the game, I have downloaded the patch but it wont run without the halo CD witch I have and is in the drive when Im doing this. anyone know why Linux wont read the CD.
P.S. I have wine and Play on linux, I also have halo PC already instaled but it wont run because it needs the CD
