First off you guys and girls are the ones who started getting analytical. All the information about the history of the map is in the initial couple of posts. I am sorry if you think glancing at key words in the post set you people off but if your gonna get all analytical about what you miss read then maybe it is you whom should be thinking before you speak / type. Half of you are saying things that are not even about the map. I clearly stated in my history of the map descriptions that it is just a map for playing around on and it is not a big project that will ever go back under the design knife again! So why can't you persons with the snarky comments and attitudes just keep on topic and enjoy the map. If you don't like the screen caps then move along and refrain from posting anything....

And I am playing HALOCEv1.0. The update patches for both games are (v1.09) and what most people commonly talk about when mentioning (version numbers). Since he had not mentioned CEv1.0 in his initial attempt at correcting me. Then technically I am still correct in my initial retort to his comments.

Enlighten me then Mr.Perfect... I have even used my xfire game launcher with international servers included and still only get a couple hundred players for either HaloPC v1.09 and HaloCE v1.09. So if there is something you can show me to otherwise make me believe you; then make no mistake. I know what games I am talking about and what versions.

Xbox, Xbox360 and Vista Halo2 is not what we are talking about, so be sure to not be thinking of those games.

And why is everyone so politically correct in this community? To correct someones ability to communicate actually is wrong in of itself and in all reality the ones trying to be politically correct are the ones whom are not!

What happened to the hey guy, thanks for the effort. Oh ok I will check it out ,or Nah it's ok but it's not my type of map comments? If you have nothing to contribute then STFU! lol.... So to be politically correct. If you have nothing to say; say nothing...

My facts? The facts are in the game lobby statistics which are in no way as great as it used to be when Bungie had their servers up. All the servers are privately owned and out of like the 300 or so that show up 6 or 7 seven servers at most are fully populated. 9 or 10 are poulated with less than 10 players. And as for CE Custom Edition there is maybe 100 servers privately owned and those are even more sparsley populated than regular Halo. 43 players were on at the time of this Post for CE.

During the typing of this post I logged into HaloPC and currently there are 193 players. So yeah compared to 8 or 9 years ago Halo is pretty much DYING! There used to be 15 million players. So yeah I'm right.

Probably; since I'm not in any Halo clan atm and probably won't for PC anyways... The game is pretty much dead. I just thought after the 10 years I've played I could give something back to the community for all the years of fun I did have. However unless you have a Battlefield3 Clan or GuildWars Clan then I highly doubt you would ever reach my skill level of play!

I'm not giving it anything. It's done to the best of my abilities and that's that. Enjoy or Don't. It was just an informative post about the reason the map was made and what the theme is from. If you did not read all the details then you won't really grasp what is going on. So why bother posting your feedback when it's not needed. The map is done. Used to be used for our clan's Friday night Fights and now it's gone public is all. Geesh! Get it? Got it? Probably not! But oh well! Good!

No! The name of the map IS NE_beta1f it's not a beta it's finished! It's an inside joke from the clan. Only we will ever know what it symbolizes. Muhahahaha! (read above: modeled after star wars clone wars) it's a training arena and is textured to look the way it is already.

It's supposed to be big. And It's not that big... you'll see when it comes about for DL. In the SW-CW Episode, think Star Wars Arena training grounds. About 4 Teams of 4 or 5 Clones having all out war training exercises using vehicles and tactics with lotsa clones around from both bases. It is only modeled after that concept. With the faster vehicles and speed enhancements it's perfect IMO. Besides it is Halo and there needs to be room to have good aerial combats and the like. I'll put up a video maybe after dinner. Then you'll see it's not like Huge-Ass or anything ridiculously large like it! lol


Ok it's after dinner and I guess i can't bump my own post... But here ya go people.

Ok so here is what I was able to throw together using the xfire in game recorder. I know it's blurry and choppy a bit but that's xfire trying to conserve bandwidth. The original videos are pretty great quality, but once xfire compresses the 2x 200mb files into 2x 1.5 mb. files there is gonna be some loss. But in any event I hope you get a better feel of it's size. It only takes a few seconds to get to the pickup defensive walls and bases. I can traverse from one base to another in less than 30 seconds no matter what vehicle I use, so it's smaller than a standard map the size of Sidewinder! Just bigger modeled bases and higher ceilings for combat. Enjoy... Keep in mind there is no further work going to be done on this map. It was MY FIRST map ever and probably my last. Halo is a dying game and CE has even less players. Really not worth the effort to make more. My old clan and I enjoyed playing the hell out of this map during all the betas. I know it from personal experience that it is fun! We got drunk or whatever and had 100's of hours of good times. It is being released to the kids so they can enjoy it too.... :) I tried not to film to much as far as bases and weapons and vehicles that are in the map. I want it to be discovered as a person plays through it. This was my clan's place to hang out Friday nights. So it's not some massive project to dwell on about what ,should of ,would of and could of been done to it. lol...

About:
This map is based on Star Wars The Clone Wars Season3 Ep. 01of the Animated Series. It was an episode about the clones training arena. I brought that arena to life as best I could with some assistance from krispy2001 and this is my first map ever! A few bugs as it was never completely finished. (Nothing major). At the time I was part of the Noob Eradication Clan (ÑE»Mongar) was my IGN and this was to be a custom Arena for the clan to meet and have fun on Friday nights! We did alot of testing and tweaking as some vehicles are very powerful and some things were not completed, but I did however go back recently and tweak everything for pretty good game play. Enjoy! We did while testing it out.

This map was designed for Slayer, KOTH, Race, TeamSlayer, CTF, and Oddball mode. This map is best played with 8 or more players! (ALL WEAPONS ARE HEAVY WEAPONS!) No matter what game type you set it for! The ÑE»Clan was a heavy weapons clan only!

Acknowledgement: I wish to thank all the people in the Noob Eradication clan for all the good, fun times and for all those who helped and played during testing. This is for you and the rest of the world to enjoy!

Thanks for the responses so far. I will take any and all help I can get. Thanks to all of you that are helping to point me in the right direction.


I have recently hired a guy from the net to help build my clan's Halo CE custom map for my clan.
He recently retired from the project. I now have about 75% of an unfinished map. I simply would like someone who has spare time to help arrange and populate the map with vehicles and pickups. Mostly everything else is done. I have all the files and my understanding is that it should be a very simple process to complete for an advanced map maker. I however have absolutely no idea about any of this stuff. I would like to discuss the terms of a designer stepping up to finish this almost complete project.
