This is our biggest chance! Because we get to have all of the master chief collections. Don't get me wrong 343i want this on pc but not microsoft. Edited by sshers4 on Jul 29, 2014 at 11:42 AM

It's the perfect opportunity for them to port all the games, since the XBO architecture is preety much the same as PC. They also stated several times that it takes 3 days to port a PC game to XBO, so why not from XBO to PC? Yep the porting will be so amazing now Microsoft can stop having stupid excuses lolz.

They can still have their exclusives if that's what keeps them in the market. Competence is allways good, if they lose their exclusives and Sony becomes a monopoly, they'll be able to do whatever they want to to players. Just look at Apple with the iPhone... it was and still is s***, but they had a monopoly and did what they wanted for years. Now they have a brainwashed fanbase and that's what keeps them in the market. -EDIT- Oh lawlz I read "exclusives" instead of excuses... Edited by The Doctor on Jul 29, 2014 at 11:54 AM Yea xd saw it. By the way like I said 343i want it on pc because frank o connor even said "it can happen but it needs to be on the right time." So it kinda show they do love pc gamers but its microsoft are stopping them.

everything they have said about the PC version thus far is solely because they aren't just going to go out and say "we aren't doing a pc version". so instead they are buttering it up in hopes that we will stop annoying them about it.
the chance is slim, people. (notice how I didn't say not possible because things like this have happened before)

People told me that when Disney bought Star Wars.
Now they've cancelled a great TV show in favor of making a more kiddie friendly Saturday morning cartoon, and are doing their best to utterly demolish decades of content in the process. Because we all wanted to see 70 year old Han Solo onscreen instead, right?
The moral of the story is companies suck and this won't accomplish anything.

I'll be completely honest, I could care less about the MCC Halo 5, all I want is this. Preferably with some kind of editing kit attachment to forge, but I would love it either way if it came to PC with multiplayer support.

I would play it for days just for fun, and use forge again and play multiplayer for its simplicity. If Halo 3 ODST were ported I would be fine with that too, I liked ODST. Same for Reach.

If Halo is released for a specific OS it will probably go down the same road as Halo 2 Vista. Then again Halo 2 Vista had its own share of problems along needing Vista.

Then again Halo 2 Vista had its own share of problems along needing Vista. Halo 2 works fine on my PC and I am using window 7. But multiplayer don't work. You can't think of it that way though. Lets go back to the year it was released in 2007. When it was first released you had your three groups. Windows XP, Windows Vista and some guy using an apple computer in the background. Halo 2 Vista LEGALLY only ran on Vista at the time but a hack did come out for XP later. Windows Vista at the time was the Windows 8 of today. No one wants to go to Windows Vista unless they absolutely had to. The game was also a monster of a game because even setups that had better specs than an original Xbox could not run it without sacrificing 72 virgins to Satan. The game was just not optimized for PC at the time. The lack of dedicated servers also lead to its downfall as i'm sure everyone knows just how important dedicated servers can be. Lets not forget that Halo 2 had rampant cases of hacking and cheating going on. Halo 2 now runs on anything above Vista. Correct me if I am wrong Halo maps community. Just found this news today
We are focused all on [Xbox One]," 343 Industries general manager Bonnie Ross said in a new interview with IGN. "It is Master Chief's story, and it is Master Chief's story on [Xbox One]. So at this time, we have no plans or nothing to announce for PC."
Ross's comments don't rule out a PC release for The Master Chief Collection down the road, but it appears that come launch on November 11, the Xbox One will be the only place to play the game. It's not much of a surprise that The Master Chief Collection is coming only to Xbox One; after all, it is one of Microsoft's biggest Xbox One exclusives for this year and is no doubt seen as a system-seller. If it were to come to PC right out of the gate, gamers would have less of an incentive to buy an Xbox One.
A retail listing for a PC version of The Master Chief Collection appeared last week, but Microsoft was quick to shoot this down, saying the product page was posted in error

This is what happens when you keep raging at consoles. So ah!. Just shut the hell up if all you have to say is blatantly unarguably wrong.

If they say, "No, we're never going to do this," they've eliminated that marketing option. On the other hand, if they say, "Yes, we're definitely going to do this," and then end up not doing it, then there'll be backlash. Saying, things like, "Keep asking," and "Maybe," keeps all of their options open. Would I like a definitive yes-or-no answer? Sure. But I can understand why they aren't giving one.
