You seem to be claiming to have given him solutions via... private messages, I suppose, but I've not seen anything of the sort out here in the public forum. All I see is Dennis asking for suggestions, and you snapping back with what appear to be... excuses?

True or not, you've done nothing to show it to the rest of us. It doesn't matter how righteous you might think you are in the matter when you've got nothing to prove it. Hearts and minds, ya know? You're not going to win anybody over if all anyone sees is you playing victim while he politely asks for suggestions. If he is "lying," he's doing a lot better job of it than you are at telling the truth. If you really have all these helpful suggestions you've made in the past, I don't see why you don't just post them and expose him for what he is.

Your signature says "Just listen," which implies that you came here with hopes of being heard. It looks to me that he's all ears, and now you refuse to speak.

Not to tell you what to do, but I'd rather just ignore those that you disagree with in the first place. (Not pointing the finger to you at all, Clicker. Nor am I lumping you in any category I'm mentioning)

The thing is, if you really want to do something about the trolls, ignoring them is your very best option. I myself have almost as much fun doing it as playing Halo, as it gets more amusing reactions at times. However, in my case, the reactions I've gotten are identical to what I'd get if I gave a spoiled little kid a punishment for misbehaving.

It is quite literally, similar to dealing with an annoying child's inappropriate behavior irl. Although the vast majority of it applies to forums built around games, the worst are of the FPS genre, and yahoo.com discussions involving religion and politics.

However, if you're incapable of handling the trolls, then I'd suggest you go to an internet community not based around video games (especially Sonic or FPS fandoms).

Ultimately, you're dealing with children (and/or adults and teens that are just as immature as children), and based on my experiences, they're easy opponents.

Hey, Dennis is better than a lot of moderators I've seen on other sites. Those moderators were worse than any troll on any Halo forum. Even the ones that viciously attack others just for the games they like.

That is because they want you to prove your assertions that I have been lying.

Considering that your account was created on 12/23/13 (3 days ago) I am sure that most are pretty sure that if indeed you were a new member then you have not explain anything as you have repeatedly stated before. So that means you are either an existing member who does not have the fortitude to post under your existing account and has created a new one to join this discussion or you are a previously banned member either so aggrieved or ashamed by your previous actions that you feel you have to slink back to get retribution by calling me a liar.

I am guessing the latter then. We do not ban people or IP's we ban conduct. I don't care who you are as long as you comport yourself within the bounds of the forum rules. That is why I chose not to restrict all access based on IP and just at registration. I believe that people can change their behaviour. permanently banning and IP from all access implies that the person won't change and the others at that IP are the same.

Actually temporary suspensions could be fairly effective.
