Microsoft doesn't seem to be interested in Singapore. Microsoft's servers which the x-box one needs to connect to are not available in asia meaning that I couldn't get the console to work without hacking it. The servers won't even support other regions such as the entire continent of africa, the gulf and parts of south america. Damn. -Zekilk

I doubt that the Xbox can send processes to be made somewhere else and then sent to the Xbox, wouldn't it be slow and lag up your Internet? Srs. The thing about the Internet check, yes, people do have Internet, but the fact that it requires the Internet is what turns people off. What happens if your Internet gets cut off? It does happen, and if it happens to an Xbox One owner, they're left with a useless brick so useless, it can't even spy on them. Edited by Jesse on Jun 13, 2013 at 03:18 PM

Cloud is being used mostly for computing. So its not like its sending models back and forth, just certain data, ala Ai behavior, ect

Besides, I'm absolutely certain that an 8-core processor can handle any AI data it's given. AI behavior is moar erratic, which is what CPUs handle best (not GPUs). And what about when you don't have Internet? I certainly hope games don't depend on cloud computing.

And what about when you don't have Internet? I certainly hope games don't depend on cloud computing. For example: The New Fortza game. When you drive in the game, it uploads how you react to certain situations to the cloud. This information then gets processed on the cloud. In-game, the AI will download data from the cloud from players and use it to enhance their behavior also this spreadsheet is handy for the games from e3 http://i.imgur.com/ZWK5YzZ.png Edited by MatthewDratt on Jun 13, 2013 at 05:46 PM

You have to admit the graphics look more sharper and clear on xbox one. You seen metal gear solid?

Quote: --- Original message by: Mootjuh It's probably the fact that Earth City had a too high poly count so it wouldn't fit in the final game. Then again, it was a beta. it was the contrails, the particles, the lighting, the dynamics, etc the polycount is pretty consistant with the halo 2 that actually came out.
