the similarity is just pure coincidence, only because of the direction of the angles for the sky collision. but if you open the bitmap in any photoshop etc, you can see the stars spell out

Its the Union Jack from the Australian flag(that funnily happens to be the British flag. How strange.) Combined with the other missions from Halo, if you put there sky collision thingies together, it would make an Australian flag.  |
