Isn't the Reach grunt just a H3 Grunt with different perms... T_T

Let's face it, if anyone here got a hold of a Reach Spartan model (Spartan 3) they'd be too lazy to make a custom rig, and it would inevitably end up using the cyborg rig, which would make it too large in the end. So I hope to never see it because I don't want something like that spread around (distorted Halo concepts that no one realizes are distorted at a glance).

Not true, I'd have a rig on in asap... Releasing it, no. Me and SPartan released 100+ models of Halo 3 stuff, and then E3P0 released xtraction, which were both dire mistakes, seeing the community did absolutley nothing with it...

1. All lame same old shaders.
2. Claiming to steal each other tags, WTF EVERYTHING LOOKS THE SAME, and all credit to Bungie.
3. 10,000,000 Halo 3 Teams, which NONE have survived, aswell as all the ODST teams and now REACH teams that will also die.
4. We have reasons for not releasing our stuff, it is golden to us.

Even if it a rip, not to be rude, but we enjoy having something that others don't. And we don't wnat what only we have to turn into some horrible joke that people look down upon because all of the fail teams who try to make good of it.

It may not be my content, but I am still happy its exclusive to me, all of you just crappy rig to hce cyborg and shove ingame. No one would take the time to make fancy shaders in max, and make renders, export it to another engine. Etc

I'd release it, if someone made custom anims, or new added anims, and more content to match, then a damn Reach Spartan on Bloodgulch,

Everyone who gets new content, rips or not. Does not value what you can do with it, this may be a Halo CE site, but you can make so much more of it, then just RUSHING it with sh**ty shaders into CE. Maybe if you took your time to actually do something with people's content, they'd be glad to release it. I am making small animation with the spartan model and some custom BSPs and Halo 1 BSPs... A short film, for fun and other to enjoy. If you had the models, all i'd see is 10 posts of releases, with crappy tags, or EXTINCTION [REACH EDIT]....

I appreciate member form 2003-2008 ish. (If you joined earlier and are a actual helpful member, I include you aswell.) Everyone else is basically a noob, or a leech.

And everyone who complains that I joined last year, I actually joined in 2005 as Melee3G, I just got banned 4 times... Melee3G, MeleeLite, XeDK, Epsilon, iHalo

So what you're saying is that you shove the content in people's faces and keep it to yourself because it makes you feel good. And you deserve to do so because you can make nice renders in Max. Wut?

so the members have to have joined within a certain time scale to be any good at anything?
this forum consists of people who can model, mod, rip, animate etc (a lot of that they do pretty well)i'm not going to list everything but you should get the idea.
there are people on this forum who joined after your choice of time scale and they do what they do just fine.for the majority it's a hobby, or as a starting point to better things.
don't judge by age after all there are guys from 2006 who still can't follow a tutorial to make a basic map.also if it was just the old members that were still here, then how many members do you think this forum would have to this date that would still use or visit this forum?
