It is natural for humans to try and perfect everything they do.
Heres an example:
You start to play football. At first you arnt really game enough to go in and tackle those on the opposite team, nor are you game enough to keep the ball for too long. But the more you play, the more your confidence grows and the better you get. You learn from your mistakes and improve on them in future.

Now apply this to stealing. You start out taking small things from charities and such. Then you move up to convenience stores. If you get caught, you learn from your mistake. Eventually you will start stealing bigger things such as cars.

This isnt necessarily the case but you get my point. You start out small and work your way up. In this particular case it would be that you start cheating on games. Then you move up to cheating friends. Then to family and so on. You will start to cheat with everything you do and others will pay the price. That is until you get caught.

Now back to the main issue, aimbots are for lowlifes that will never amount to anything. If you use an aimbot, the main person your cheating is yourself.

lol, i stand no where on the subject, its the eprsons choice, nothing we can do about it. they wanan be lame so be it. of course, alot fo games have computer assited aim(especially the consoles) which, technically, its a aimbot(sight in about a foot away[game units] and it locks onto the clsoest part of their model). just of course the aimbtos ppl use on pc to cheat are excessive. now if u had one that compensated for lag(not fully locked on but got u ahead of the player to dealw tih the lag) i wouldnt see that as too bad.

I have been playing halo for 2 years now.

About 6 months into playing halo online, servers was ruined by aimbotters, especially the ones who snipe you from 6 km away on coldsnap.

I felt the need to stand on equal grounds with botters and eventually found aimbot that works: works on players on foot and in vehicles, even the Anti-Air Warthog's missiles are auto-aimmed by the aimbot. Unfortunately that bot blocks the ability to use chat and expires after 7 uses.

Now that my role in halo is that of moderator, I go busting asshats who use bots and glitching.

Is it correct, what I was told ... that triggerbots work based on the crosshair turning red ?
If so, has anyone run a server or map with no sniper/pistol crosshair ?

Off topic: I know, you cant kill someone on that game in that little time!

On topic: I didnt say that at all. I suggested that they rid the world of themselves. But they are losers.

To Cat:
Its not the crosshair that the bot uses. All weapons on halo fire at the direct centre of the screen. Bots use this info to automatically lock onto the head bone for the bipeds (aka it automatically it locks onto the head of any model). So even if the crosshairs were turned off it wouldnt change a thing.

you can't stop aimbotters. complaining about it isn't going to do anything because you can't stop them. complaining is no more a waste of time than you claim it is to aimbot.

your definition of a waste of time is flawed. technically, doing anything unconstructive is technically a waste of time. watching TV is a waste of time. playing video games is a waste of time. posting anything on this forum unrelated to anything to do with helping people improve their skills or wanting to improve your own skills is a waste of time.

Ok grunt, as you said you are in highschool. I dont know whether thats true or not but I will answer asuming it is.
Obviously you have absolutly no idea what it means to spend your own money. But when you grow up you will understand what I mean. Until then you wont have a clue of what Im talking about.
Also, $20 dollars can make alot of difference. It means nothing to you at this point in time because you are a kid. I would assume by the way you talk that you are about 13-14. Anyway, with $20 you can change alot of things.

The point of a game is to play it. If your not the one playing then there is no point in spending alot of money to buy a game. Why not buy yourself a movie. Its the exact same thing and you dont annoy everyone else.

Hmm, the first part would actually apply to you posting that statement. You obviously have nothing of use to contribute to this conversation.
To the second part, I believe I understand what you are trying to get at but maybe next time you could word it a little better. Anyway, by what you have said this entire thread has turned into a ragefest. I am informing those who have no clue what they are talking about.
