Sometimes you can connect to it, and other times you can't. That is what happens to me, all you can rely on is luck. So changing the port to 2312 allows me to join my own sever?

How about you use the default ports for your dedicated server and just change your in game ports to 2303 and 2304. Just leave the default ports for your dedi. My router isn't on the list so I can't forward my ports, and when I type -port, -ports, Haloceded.exe-port (with and without space or plural), -?, or haloceded.exe-?, it says it can't be executed.

I found out problem. My new PC has wireless, which can't host. My other PC has a router, but it has horrible specs and plays halo at all lowest settings @ 20FPS.

In the rest of my post I was quoting DarkZealot since he said that I could run two instances of Halo at once (as in join my own dedicated), and you said that he doesn't have the specs to. I was giving the specs of my computer since I can run the dedicated server and the game at once.
