well the double sided has made it visible.. still having a few issues.. don't understand why it needed 2 sided... and yes changed the render bounding.. and have now changed it back up a bit.
all the faces are facing the right way. had to mess with it a bunch since max was being stupid..the shader works fine on a similiar tag i made recently. changing the bounding didnt help either... thanx though

i have created a piece of scenery but when i get it in sapien it is partially transparent. also in max my create face is backwards.. kinda confused on both counts.
thanx that was very helpful for finishing my project.. still wsh i understood permutations better..
i have a scenery tag that has 4 permutations. it uses 2 bitmaps and 2 shaders. what i want is 4 scenery tag not one with 4 permutatuions. so i copied it and removed 3 of the permutations. just trying to understand any technical help would be great.
