already tried that: like 8 times. I even reinstalled the game twice, each time a different copy of the game.

All of the maps are in the folder C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Halo 2. its just that some show up and some do not.

Neither of the two computers are connected to the internet, and even if I installed the maps on the one i'm using right now, i think i would have the same problem moving them to the one that can actually play halo (this one really sucks). I've tried reinstalling halo twice, and the second time I even moved all of the program files from the first computer. Halo worked, but the maps still didnt show up. The only major difference that I can think of between the two computers is the operating system, but all the maps showed up on my third computer, which has the exact same operating system as the second one. (my first computer has vista premium 64-bit, and the second and third one have vista premium 32-bit.) Any ideas as to the cause of why the maps dont show up? Thanks in advance.

I have installed the following custom maps on two computers, extracting and placing all of them in the folder Documents/My Games/Halo 2/Maps: BloodGulch, Bright Sun, Danger Canyon, Frostbite, Glass Horizon, Guardian, Hang'em Higher, Narrows, Tombstone, Earthcity Parallax, Sandtrap, and Vertigo 2. After installing an update on the first computer, all of the installed maps appeared and were playable. (only a few showed up before the update) On the second computer, only Earthcity was present. After installing the update on the second computer, Frostbite, and Danger Canyon appeared in addition to Earthcity. Why are only 3 of the 13 maps I installed showing up? P.S. the update is Halo2Vista-Update-10-18-2007. I dont know if there is a newer one, but if there is could someone please post a link. Thanks. |
