I find it extremely offensive, because I can bet that nearly almost everyone in this forum, or anyone that posts this quote on the internet has no idea what Autism is like.

My friends and I help out at our local children's special needs center during the Summer, and there was this one child with autism that wouldn't speak to us for two months.

Half the people here are probably quite high on the Autistic spectrum so that's a bit of a dumb bet.

As an autistic friend of mine once said, highly autistic people tend to like computers because monitor screens don't have faces. He phrased it rather a lot better than that, but yeah, autistic people tend to become IT geeks because it's quite impersonal.
So it's quite likely that a lot of people here know what Autism is like.

Yeah, almost every user in Halomaps acted like that when they first came here, either because they were new in an Internet forum or because they were just young, like Inifinite Guardian. So instead of calling them mentally handicapped every f time, one should just wait until they adapt and not act like "Oh, I can make posts better than a 12 year old, lol", well congrats!

I might try to play with them sometimes, but most of the time I tell them nicely what they did "wrong".

Like you can complain about me or others being "oversensitive" as much as you want but at the end of the day who is really at fault, the person being mean or the person who gets hurt by someone being mean?
