I've only seen him here and his grammar is horrible so I would place him at around an early middle school level. Not to mention the fact that if it could be done so easily, chances are that someone already would have. There are plenty of people out there that don't care about copyright laws - some of them have a particular uncaring for those relating to Microsoft. I'd like to see at least a shred of proof that he is capable of this, then we can start to worry about how illegal it is.
On another note, it always amuses me to read Dennis' posts because of all the factual information and personal experience he uses to back up his claims. I find it to be a of great advantage to have someone like Dennis active on a forum. The administrators of places like Halomods.com and even GBX for that matter, give nothing to the forums except in the rare instance that they actually look at them. The fact alone that he puts up with all of your immature nonsense astounds me. I look up to Dennis as the type of person I want to be later in life.
Your childish behavior is inexcusable, you have no reason to act this way. It's like the many people who join forums and can't even find it in them to use proper English.

and sorry dennis for saying gay oh i said it again sorry sorry.
Gay is a perfectly acceptable word.

Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French gai, of Germanic origin; akin to Old High German gAhi quick, sudden
1 a : happily excited : MERRY <in a gay mood> b : keenly alive and exuberant : having or inducing high spirits <a bird's gay spring song>
2 a : BRIGHT, LIVELY <gay sunny meadows> b : brilliant in color
3 : given to social pleasures; also : LICENTIOUS

Any other colloquial meanings are just stupid, ignorant and childish.

Slang terms are quick ways of saying things, not stupid, ignorant and childish ways of saying things. People use the other meaning of gay all the time.
You postulate that the use of slang can not be a way of saying stupid, ignorant and childish things and I beg to differ. People can use slang and proper English (or any language) to say stupid, ignorant and childish things and they often do.
Quote: By calling slang stupid, ignorant and childish you're just trying to make it look like you're better than the rest of us.
You have mistaken what I was calling stupid, ignorant and childish. I was not saying that slang was stupid, ignorant and childish I was saying that anyone using the alternate or slang meaning of the word "gay" in this forum would be considered stupid, ignorant and childish. That does in any way infer superiority on my part but instead relegates the user of the slang term to ranks of a juvenile.

If I remember rightly, they showed a clip from a debate in the house of commons, and they used the term "Gay" and never said the proper english term. So yes, slang CAN be used to say stupid, ignorant and childish things (and usually is) but in this case, it clearly isnt.
In a structured debate, or just a civil conversation the use of gay to describe a homosexual relationship is perfectly acceptable and accepted. But you missed the point. What is childish and usually ignorant is to use the term in an attempt to demean others as in; "that game is so gay" or "don't be gay about this". Using gay in this manner says more about the person using it than the person or thing he is describing and I am sure the members of parliament never used it that way.

It shows a lack of understanding of what it actually means, it shows a level of insecurity or immaturity in their own sexuality and most often shows an intolerant or ignorant mindset. Frankly as far as I am concerned it shows a stupid, ignorant and childish person trying to cover their own failings by attempting to put someone else down.

These are tough topics and can be and are being debated across the country and the world in many places. This forum will not solve them but I will not let the kind of intolerance that fosters insulting people thrive in this forum.

I will not tell you what to think or feel, if you have questions about it talk to your parents or guardian, but in this forum what you say can be controlled. As I am sure you know I do not interfere or get involved in much of the conversations here, but there is language I will not allow. I will not allow profanity or any language of hate. Instead of just mandating it all the time I will often try to get people to look at what they are saying so they know why it is unacceptable. I want people to think, preferably before they type.

You will see from this conversation we have had that the obvious thing is not always the point of a conversation there can be many subtexts. As I said above, it was not slang or fact that gay can mean homosexual that I was objecting to but the common use of the term in a derogatory manner.

But we have both gotten way off topic, as interesting as it has been.
