New MP map, will feel and look like Reach, but Play as H1

If your wondering why i´m using scenery, its becuase of 26 k polies with portals, cluster and rendering issues.

How about you actually go back and finish Planet Flood A? Since you seem to have a knack for releasing things unfinished you might as well just release it now. Come to think of it, what is a "Planet Flood"? Why are the flood on "Planet Flood"? Are B and A even the same planet? In A we simply walk aimlessly around shooting things with no objective, but in B there is a sudden urgency to retrieve a forerunner ship even though there never was in A, and why are the covenant suddenly our enemies in B even though they were previously allies? So many questions! My brain is collapsing in on itself!

Pretty bold move, could turn out really good. I commend you attempting this. If I were to design a game from scratch, we'd do it this way.

Like the textures and shaders for the base, the snowy terrain in general needs to be less blocky, the environment shader you currently have setup makes the floor look plasmic.....also add a stronger detail map or increase the tiling amount on your ice textures.

Sorry, the BSP background has 15 k polies, while the Island has 5k, I will implement more portals and tesellate the more prominent hills and add more detail in BSP and more scenery and detail objects as more decals as well...
Im planning to replace the H1 models with Reach ones without changing the damage values to keep it balanced.

PD: I have Video Settings (textures)on low son I could keep recording at 20 fps...(without Record I render the map at 45-50 fps)

Is there any reason to have background as bsp? Can you actually walk on the background? If not then you could just use scenery or sky with fake fog.

I concur, 15k tris for a section of a bsp which is designed to do nothing but look good doesn't sound like a very good investment.

Yeah skies are hard to deal with, it took me few days to get the forge world sky working correctly.

To set a difficulty, start Halo CE in developer mode, and type one of the following commands into the console:
game_difficulty_set easy
game_difficulty_set normal (<--this is the default difficulty, by the way)
game_difficulty_set hard
game_difficulty_set impossible
Then use the map_name command and play this map on the selected difficulty.

I'm not going to download your thing but from the look of your screen shot you could atleast invest in a ripped bsp (at the very least) aside from cmt's magic test box.

Just shooting straight at an enemy ai offers nothing to the experience of a challenging difficulty setting aside from calculating how much damage you or your enemy can take.

TLDR; Allow for usable cover instead of covenant storage lockers.

Working on some more blender stuff. Taking a look at Cyboryxmen's JMS exporter, and trying to find out why it butchers UVs. Other than that, BSPs exported with it seem to work ingame. Or at least my standard test BSP does.

I haven't looked into it yet (Just working on basic importing/exporting for now), but if enough people need it, I don't see why not.

Without meaning to sound bias 3dstudio max has the most powerful and versatile baking system of any 3d package out there. If you look hard enough you can do so many "hacky" and "cheaty" things that just would not be possible with much of anything available to us today
